Article Processing Charges (APC)

Accepted manuscripts are subject to mandatory Article Processing Charges (APC), applicable to authors from all countries. PEMA applies APCs to ensure that all published articles are freely accessible for download, thereby supporting researchers in developing innovative models and systems to meet essential and future needs.

A 50% APC waiver is granted to corresponding authors with an H-index of 40 or above, in recognition of their significant research contributions.

PEMA also provides additional fee waiver opportunities for authors who have previously published with the journal, based on the citation count of their articles indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.

The APCs listed below are uniform and applicable to all authors, regardless of nationality or affiliation (Indian or international):

• For a Full Length Research Article, the APC is 17,500 INR for academic authors and 26,250 INR for industry authors.

• For a Full Length Review Article, the APC is 26,250 INR for academic authors and 35,000 INR for industry authors.

• For a Short Communication Article, the APC is 14,000 INR for academic authors and 21,000 INR for industry authors.

• For a Mini Review Article, the APC is 15,750 INR for academic authors and 24,500 INR for industry authors.

• For Comments, the APC is 8,750 INR for academic authors and 17,500 INR for industry authors.

The above APCs exclude taxes and transaction charges. Authors are required to make the APC payment upon acceptance of the manuscript.
Authors are eligible to claim only one discount voucher per manuscript submission.

Note:

• A 100% APC waiver is applicable for all submissions made until June 2027.

• A 30% discount will be provided to authors who submit their simulation files or a short experimentation video, which can be shared openly with the research community to promote transparency and knowledge sharing.
