PEMA is committed to open-access publishing. All accepted articles are made freely available online without subscription charges. To support this model, an article processing charge (APC) is required from authors or their institutions upon acceptance. This ensures that readers worldwide can access the content without cost.

⚡ Rapid Publication
  • Initial Decision: Authors will receive the editor’s initial decision within 1–2 days of submission.
  • Peer Review: Once potential reviewers are assigned, peer review is completed within 15 days after the initial editorial decision.
  • Revisions: After receiving reviewer feedback, authors are encouraged to submit their revised manuscripts at their earliest convenience. Once the revised version is submitted, a decision regarding acceptance, rejection, or further revision will be made promptly.
  • Post-Acceptance Process:
    • Upon acceptance, the corresponding author receives an official acceptance letter, along with APC details and payment instructions.
    • After the APC is paid, the manuscript proceeds to the production stage.
    • The corresponding author will collaborate with the production manager for final proofreading.
  • Timeline for Online Publication: Accepted and paid manuscripts will be published online within 30 days. Delays in payment or proofreading may extend this timeline.
